Mannheim-based Artist Chento (born Cem, 23 Jahre, half German half Turkish) won LM Booking´s Blue Room competition and made impressive use of his recording session at Lux Diamonds Studio Mannheim. Chento has been making music for around seven years and is working on his own authentic sound. When he entered the competition, he didn`t expect the prize to come at the right moment.
Right from the start, it became clear how well his voice and style harmonise with the acoustics of the Blue Room Mannheim. The mixture of directness, emotional poignancy and strong storytelling was a perfect math for the precise studio environment. The modern technology and the acoustically optimised room structure ensured that every take was captured clearly and with definition.
The accompanying instagram reel, together with LM Booking and Lux Diamonds, reached an impressive 81,300 people and shows just how much energy was put into this session.
